Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese lends his talents to Chanel with the creation of a "short film" advertising their new men's cologne, Bleu de Chanel. Scorsese's commercial is the latest example of the fashion world tapping famous names to direct ads. Gucci recently released a preview of a 3-D ad for their new fragrance Gucci Guilty starring Evan Rachel Wood & directed by Sin City's Frank Miller . The full "film" will make its debut on the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12.

We're super stoked about Status Magazine's Joyrich feature in the new August/ September issue!!! If you haven't checked out this mag you MUST peep what they got goin' on. Among the sea of editorial blase', Status is a breath of fresh air.
We have started concepting our upcoming F/W 11 collection and during these times of intensely seeking inspiration, anything can spark an idea. Creativity can be appreciated in the most unlikely places. Looking around our office today, there was plenty of randomness as well as this amazing piece of "vehicular art" in the parking lot of our favorite Japanese food spot on our lunch break - complete with a climbing gnome, glitter, and a hand painted bumper that reads "dancing with fairies". Long live the artistic mind....
